Adekanmbi Ademola A wednesday of mixed reactions as news broke in the morning that Kevin de Bruyne had sustained what looked like a calf injury during training at Manchester City but series of tests have to be run by the Club's physio to determine if the injury is a serious one or not. OAU aspirants set to get Post-UTME print-out forms.

Habeeb Waliyu The 2018/2019 aspirants of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)  are hereby informed that the printing of the Post-UTME test form will start on the 26th of August,2018. The print-out, which contains the details of the candidates, time and venue of the aptitude test coming up in September, will be available on the school website. According to  a conversation with a top official at the Information Communication Technology (ICT) centre of the university, He said; "printing of form will start from 26th of this month downward." The 27-year-old brought an end to a six-year spell with the Super Eagles, during which he won the Africa Cup of Nations and featured in two World Cups. The menace of cultism in Nigerian tertiary institutions calls for diligent analysis and pragmatic remedy. Few weeks ago, the Obafemi Awolowo University Administration handed over 12 suspected cult members (students and ex students that have refused to graduate) to Osun State CID, Osogbo. While it is a commendable development, it is equally crystal clear that the University is only interested in cheap populism, cosmetic face-saving drama, as the concerned individuals have been released without any further investigation or prosecution. Obviously, the scenario is dangerous to the University Community and the Country at large. For the sake of records, this scenario is reccurring and the scenes playing out like the 1999 brutal attack that claimed the lives of five Obafemi Awolowo University students. OAU Action Committee petitions police force On the release of suspected cultists

Peter Oyebanji The Students' Union Action Committee of Obafemi Awolowo University has pettitioned The Nigeria Police on the release of suspeced cultist of the University without any public release to that effect. In the petition dated 14th of August and signed by the protem Chairman of the committee, Gbenga Oloniniran, it was stated that the Police Force has to do everything needed to reprehend the emerging cult activities on the campus. It should be recollected that OAU KILONSHELE reported how Twelve suspected cultists, who are students of the institution, were arrested three weeks ago and their release from the State Criminal Investigation Department, C.I.D, Osogbo. The suspected cultists were later released without prosecution and the university management haven't put out any public statement on why they were released without prosecution nor have they stated their stance on the issue.
